Outgoing emails limit

We have set up security measures in our hosting offer to detect the abusive or abnormal use of an email address. These measures protect you from the malicious use of your computer or your email account. For specific needs, please ask for a dedicated mail hosting.

Outgoing email limits per hour period per account, subscription and domain

  • Shared Hosting (cPanel): one email address/domain/hosting account can send a maximum of 40 messages per 1-hour period
  • Swiss Hosting (Plesk): one email address can send a maximum of 100 messages & domain/account 500 messages per 1-hour period
  • Semi-Dedicated Hosting (cPanel): one email/domain/hosting account address can send a maximum of 100 messages per 1-hour period
  • Reseller Hosting (DirectAdmin): one email address/domain/hosting account can send a maximum of 300 messages per 1-hour period
  • CMS Hosting (cPanel): one email address/domain/hosting account can send a maximum of 60 messages per 1-hour period

These security measures concern outgoing email via Sendmail, email software, email applications, etc., but not the Mailman tool if available. 

On explicit written and authenticated request, it is possible on a paid basis to modify these security rules for a specific subscription (except for Shared and CMS Hosting): contact us to make such request.
